Archis Gore

Archis is currently a Senior Staff Engineer at Meta, responsible for AI Model governance and reliability for Facebook. He’s also an investor, board member and advisor to a number of companies from startups to large corporations.

Archis previously co-founded and was CTO of Polyverse Corporation, an innovative cybersecurity company specializing in defending against nation-state level threats. Polyverse solutions protected various systems for the US Navy. He has extensive experience in partnering with Governments, DoD, three-letter agencies and public-private partnerships such as Kessel Run labs. He is primarily a scientist, having invented a method for executing computer programs without decryption, a patent he has granted into the public domain (encrypted-execution.com).

He started his career before graduating from college when he won Microsoft’s Code4Bill contest being a part of 20 students out of 150K competitors to intern with Bill Gates’s team. He filed his first patent at 22 for a novel multi-lingual spelling-matching algorithm that allows people who speak different languages written in different scripts to find words based on pronunciation.

Archis has also ben the head of Amazon.com Search reliability for a few years, filing multiple patents in his tenure.

In his spare time, Archis is a passionate scuba diver, being one of the handful people to have dove The Governor Shipwreck, and he’s discovered a number of new wrecks in Lake Washington and the Puget Sound. He loves ballroom dancing and travels to Vienna annually for the Ball Season. Archis is patronizes local arts and culture in Seattle. His main passions are theatre and fine arts, of which he’s a frequent collector.
