Joshua Corona
Head of Global Outreach
CAW
Joshua Corona proudly serves as Head of Global Outreach for the Consular Association of Washington. He is ideally suited to strengthen the CAW's mission of fostering international cooperation and cultural exchange based on his unique combination of academic expertise in human behavior, entrepreneurial leadership, and deep roots in Seattle's civic institutions.
Josh is the Founder and CEO of SocioLens, which supports municipalities, transit agencies and stakeholders in private enterprise to solve operational challenges through models that analyze human behavior patterns. Josh’s doctoral research examines intergroup dynamics, spatial behavior, and civic engagement in urban public spaces. His key innovation is a novel methodology for understanding how everyday encounters in shared spaces influence social cohesion and democratic participation.
When he’s not building partnerships or writing his book, Josh can be found collaborating with local artists, exploring art and antique galleries, refining his skills in interior design and fashion, or diving into whatever intellectual rabbit hole has captured his attention. His insatiable curiosity has been formed by global experiences and an appreciation for how culture shapes the spaces we inhabit.
His insatiable curiosity has been formed by global experiences and years spent studying how people from different backgrounds connect. That expertise has shown him that intercultural communication is not a nicety but a necessity, the foundation of lasting partnerships that facilitate trade and diplomatic relations.
